Cosplay is a term that originated in Japan, which describes sex play with girls in uniforms or costumes.

The history her is that Japan is a country with many chain stores and restaurants where the women who work there were very specific costumes, and those are often quite sexy in their own way. It is also a country with very common dress codes for work, for school, and such. Schoolgirl uniforms are incredibly common. Cosplay as mostly to do with work related clothes, such as restaurant uniforms.

There is a non-sexual dress up club scene in Japan, especially Tokyo. There is also a very strong sexual turn, with many clubs catering to men who want to dominate (or be dominated by) women in uniform. It's all a bit Japanese, if you know what I mean!
