In the adult webmaster world, making money on the internet is all about putting as many surfers in front of their advertising as possible. As a result, webmasters will put links to other webmaster's sites to trade traffic back and forth.

Some webmasters use software to track and maintain those trades even down to checking the productivity of trade partners. Some link exchanges are as simple as a text or graphic link from one web site to another.
